Diane Risk Welcomes You

Diane Risk and the Gil Lester Trio have been part of the Sacramento area Jazz scene for years. Diane is best known as the sparkling singer who performs at Slocum House. Risk and the Gil Lester Trio have released their second CD – The More I See You, featuring Jazz Standards including; At Last, Fly Me To The Moon, and Who Can I Turn To.

A graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in music, Risk has traveled around the world performing with Royal Viking Cruise Lines, produced jingles and station ID's for Sacramento area businesses, and performed in hotels and night clubs.

The group is best known for their "straight ahead" jazz approach, featuring Bob Fylling on piano. Their capabilities and experience range from the small jazz combo to the more significant impact of the big band sounds.
